Privacy Policy

 

Your privacy matters to Neu Edge. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, book a consultation, or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies alongside our Terms of Use and Engagement Terms.

 

1. What we collect

• Contact details. Name, email address, phone number, organization, and title, provided when you fill out a form, book a session, or purchase a retainer.

• Intake and booking information. What you share in our intake forms, the services you book, and your scheduling history, collected through Acuity Scheduling.

• Engagement records. Notes we take during and between sessions, and messages you send us by text, voice note, or email. These exist to support your engagement and are kept confidential as described in Section 5.

• Sponsor information. In a sponsored engagement, the sponsoring organization’s name, billing contact, and the development goals agreed with you.

• Payment information. Processed by our payment providers (Acuity Scheduling and Stripe, or their successors). We see the card type, last four digits, and transaction history. We never store full card numbers.

• Website analytics. Page visits, time on site, device type, and referring links, collected through Squarespace Analytics and, if enabled, Google Analytics.

 

2. How we use it

• To deliver coaching and advisory services and keep continuity between sessions.

• To schedule, confirm, remind, and follow up on appointments by email and text.

• To bill you or your sponsor and keep financial records.

• To provide engagement-level updates to a sponsor, never session content (Section 5).

• To meet professional credentialing requirements (Section 5).

• To improve our website and services.

• To send occasional updates or writing from Neu Edge, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

 

3. Text messages

If you provide a mobile number and purchase a retainer, you consent to receive text messages from Neu Edge about your engagement: appointment confirmations and reminders from our scheduling system, and direct messages between you and your coach as part of between-session support. Message frequency depends on your tier and how you use it. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to automated messages to opt out of them; tell your coach directly if you prefer not to text between sessions. Mobile numbers and text consent are not shared with third parties for marketing.

 

4. The platforms we use

Wix (website hosting)

Our site is hosted on Wix, which uses HTTPS encryption and may place cookies needed for the site to work. Wix’s Privacy Policy applies to data it processes.

Acuity Scheduling (booking, forms, and payment)

Acuity, a Squarespace company, handles bookings, intake forms, retainer subscriptions, receipts, and automated reminders by email and text. Its privacy policy applies to data it processes.

Zoom and phone (session delivery)

Sessions are held by video or phone. Sessions are not recorded unless we agree in writing. Zoom collects device and connection data under its own privacy policy.

Google Workspace (email, calendar, and files)

We use Google Workspace for email, calendar invitations, and document storage. Engagement notes and shared documents are stored in encrypted Google Workspace accounts controlled by Neu Edge.

Text messaging

Direct messages between you and your coach are sent from a Neu Edge mobile number and are stored on that device and its backups.

 

5. Confidentiality

What you share in sessions and between sessions is confidential. We do not disclose it except:

• with your written consent;

• where required by law, court order, or subpoena;

• where there is imminent risk of serious harm to you or others;

• to the International Coaching Federation or the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute for credentialing, limited to your name, contact details, and engagement dates. Notes and session content are never shared.

In a sponsored engagement, the sponsor receives engagement-level updates: that the engagement is active, that sessions are being used, and progress against the goals agreed with you, at the level of themes. The sponsor does not receive session content, and you see anything shared with the sponsor beforehand.

 

6. How long we keep it

Engagement records and notes are kept for up to three years after an engagement ends, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires a longer period. Billing records are kept for seven years for tax purposes. Contact details stay on file until you ask us to remove them.

 

7. Your choices and rights

You may ask us at any time to:

• see a copy of the personal information we hold about you;

• correct it or delete it, subject to records we must keep for legal or billing reasons;

• stop marketing emails or automated text messages;

• opt out of non-essential cookies and analytics through your browser settings.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise any right, email nga@neu-edge.co. We respond within 30 days.

 

8. Security

We use reputable providers with encryption in transit and at rest, two-factor authentication on Neu Edge accounts, and access limited to Nga Janosov. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you promptly.

 

9. Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function and, if enabled, analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the site works.

 

10. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

 

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes are posted here and, for active clients, sent by email with at least 30 days’ notice. The effective date below tells you when it was last revised.
